The objective of this research paper is to build the buck converter by
using the UC3842 current controller. This paper aims to analyze the model that
is based on the small signal characteristic and also discusses the average
inductor currents estimations and the inductor current strategies. The purpose
of the Average Current mode Control is to minimize the various management
problems related to power, like the efficiency, size, EMI, complexity of
design, transient response, and finally cost. Now evaluate this entire problem
by using the ACMC of the SMPS. Now, there are the following points that can be done
in this project;

For the control of SPS search the various
methods for use.

Analyze the two main types of control schemes
for SPS.
·
Learn the limitation methods of CMC in detail
and analyze.
·
Study the ACMC technique for the PWM Dc-Dc
buck converter as the application of CMC scheme.
·
By using the simulation result which is
obtained MATLAB to create the small signal characteristics.
·
And finally, suggest the recommendations for
future work.
