The business process can be defined as a series of steps
that can be performed by a group of stakeholders to achieve specific goals. The
steps in the process are often repeated and are ideally standardize in the
maximum optimized way. The process defines all the individual steps that take
collectively and reaches to the final achievement (Simplicable. com, 2017). The business
process can be automatic as well as the manual process. It the process is
manual then it can be done without any requirement of the aid of an assisting
and the automation technology. If the process is automated and the technology
aid is delivered to assist the users for the implementation of the process then
the accurate, optimized, and the standardized process can be achieved (Simplicable. com, 2017).
The production process is mainly concerned with the
transformation of the different inputs into the outputs that are required by
the market. The production process can be further subdivided into two main sets
of resources such as transformed resources and the transforming resources. A
series of the production chain is associated with the production process (Simplicable. com, 2017).
The production process is of different types, for
instance, the job production process generates a single item that is a mainly
unique thing and has low demand. The example of job production is a machine
shop that provides an industrial composition of customer products (Simplicable. com, 2017). The batch
production process gathers the items, for instance, the 1000 pastries that are
moved through 6 steps. The mass production is the continuous production process
for the items. The series of workstations is an example of mass production. The
mass customization process produces different and unique items to the customers
for the specified process (Simplicable. com, 2017). For instance, the
production line of the product shirts is mass customization process because the
products are different for customers measurements and preferences. The craft
production uses the automation system and the example of the process is bespoke
suit tailored by a tailor (Simplicable. com, 2017).
The business process is a series of the process that can
be repeated and again. The service process is referred to the number of
services that are provided and then delivered to the customers. The process
involves different activities, routines, mechanisms, tasks, and schedules. The
services process shows different qualities such as intangibility,
inseparability, variability, and perishability (Simplicable. com, 2017).
