Essay 3 (Complete in 36 Hours)
Description:
In this assignment, you will have to add scholarly interpretation to your argument (previously submitted Essay 2), using at least three secondary sources.
This assignment is a test of your ability to use quotes, paraphrases, and summaries with proper parenthetical citation style, as well as your ability to organize a scholarly argument. Thus, you must include a minimum of six quotes and/or paraphrases.
Please follow the guidelines listed below:
750 words, double-space minimum for the paper. The works cited page is the last page.
MLA style should be used for margins, headers, spacing, and citing research.
You will want to cite from at least three secondary sources for the paper and ensure that all these sources are listed on your Works Cited page. All of your sources must come from journal articles, books, and reference materials (Please keep in mind that secondary sources must be scholarly criticism or analysis, not summaries, reviews, or “analysis” from sites such as Wikipedia, 123HelpMe, or com. Instead use the following databases – Academic Search Complete, JSTOR).
Add scholarly research to Essay 2 . This step will require MAJOR revision of Essay 2. You will realize that you won’t be able to simply throw in a few quotes from scholarly research and submit the same paper. I suggest you examine my comments and make appropriate changes.
Edit and proofread your essay carefully. Make sure the list of works cited includes all sources!
