Test 1 will be placed here on Wednesday, September 2 at 12:00 a.m. The test covers Weeks 1 & 2 Course materials and Discussions. It should take about 3-4 hours to do. Review it on September 2, and plan out when you will work on the test in the coming week. You do not have to complete it in one sitting.
The test is due on Tuesday, September 8, at 11:30 p.m. This test counts for 20% of your course grade and should be placed in the Assignment Folder.
Each test is worth 200 points. You may use the Internet and all the materials presented in the previous weeks' materials to answer the questions.
The test includes 10 in-depth identifications and an essay which must be at least 4 pages long with a thesis, evidence, and conclusions.
The essay must include quotes from the materials in the course and consistently use either MLA, APA, or Chicago citation style. Indicate at the start of your test which citation style you are using.
At the end of the test, the students must have a comprehensive page of full citations.
Note: Any time there is a grading item telling you to use "Chicago," infer that you may use MLA, APA, or Chicago, but you must have identified which one at the start of the essay. You must also use only that ONE citation style!
