Alternate assignment for CONCERT Report

Write the equivalent of a 3-4 page report giving a review of the music you chose to view on YouTube. Please select three videos out of the list of links that I have given. Your review must include the following:

What kind of listener were you? Why?

Include the title and composer of each piece. Include the YouTube link.

What was the style of each of piece?

What was the instrumentation of the orchestra?

Draw out the seating arrangement of the instruments in the orchestra, as best as you are able.

Analyze each of 3 pieces using the following criteria from the course:

Unity & Variety

Structure of the Music

Purpose of the Music

Tempo

Volume

Rhythm

Melody

Harmony

Form

Historical Period

Did you enjoy the selections? Why or why not?
