1. the goal of co-creating an invitation (email or script) to use to secure a professional partnership for this communication audit project. Be sure to discuss specific communication strategies and the reason for choosing them. 

The invitation should include the following:

who you are and why you are doing this?

an explanation of the audit process (including timelines and tasks).

a description of the benefits to the business/organization. What will they get out of it?

Dear (computer science student),

We are conducting interviews as part of a research study to increase our understanding of how computer science is perceived and experienced by both those in the field and others on campus. As a computer scientist you are in an ideal position to give us valuable first hand information from your own perspective.

The interview takes around 30 minutes and is very informal. We are simply trying to capture your thoughts and perspectives on being a student here in computer science. Your responses to the questions will be kept confidential. Each interview will be assigned a number code to help ensure that personal identifiers are not revealed during the analysis and write up of findings.

There is no compensation for participating in this study. However, your participation will be a valuable addition to our research and findings could lead to greater public understanding of computer science and the people in the field.

If you are willing to participate please suggest a day and time that suits you and  best to be available. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
