You are contemplating putting an upscale convenience store on the property. You believe you can sell goods at a higher price than at the average convenience store because of the location because you think that the wealthy residents will pay a premium for the convenience of the location. Further, you believe that the residents of the poorer neighborhood will pay the higher prices because you will have the only convenience store in the area. How do you justify your decision using ethical theory and an ethical decision making model?

The town was developed with buildings and landscaping to "remind" tourists of the UK town. To maintain that image, the town recently passed a law declaring that no religious symbols or literature may be displayed in any building within the downtown district. You are a devout follower of your religion and believe it is part of your religious duty to spread your faith. In order to do so, you believe that you must "advertise" your faith to others through display of religious symbols or literature. Discuss whether or not you have a constitutional right to present these items in your private business.

James is clearly annoyed hearing about the loss, but you continue to pester him anyway. After two days of this behavior and having made your point, you decide to move on. James has not, however, moved on and is threatening you with a lawsuit. Discuss your potential liability for your conduct and the likelihood of James' success.

You learn of a lucrative opportunity to sell licenses of your software to the Lackria Department of Transportation, a government agency of the nation of Lackria. Closing the deal could save your company from bankruptcy. In an impulsive moment, you meet with a Lackrian government minister and offer her ownership of a luxury lakeside home in exchange for a guaranteed software contract with the Lackrian government. The minister refuses your offer and asks you to leave her office. The next day you regret your decision. Discuss any possible violations of white collar laws.
