Mr. Vandell and Deborah Bland Sr. are hosting their son, Vandell Bland Jr.’s Surprise 40th Birthday party. They are depending on Matishia Bland, event planner to plan an unforgettable experience. The surprise party is scheduled to be held on June 17, 2019. Matishia and her team have 18 months to plan the surprise party. Mr. and Mrs. Bland Sr. Have provided Matishia with a budget of $5,000-$10,000 for their son’s surprise party. The birthday banquet will be held and the community Banquet all in Phillips County, Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. The party will begin and the Phillips County Fine Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Bland has requested that the theme of the party revolve around her son’s Greek organization with the colors in sync of crimson and cream with silver and black undertones. Catering will be provided by Xquisit LLC. Seafood, Cajun and Creole Restaurant. The birthday cake will be provided by Cakes by Mom and Me out of West Memphis, Arkansas. The cake will be two tiered butter pecan and red velvet cake in the form of the greek letter organization. Music and entertainment will be provided by local Disk Jockey Mark Price and Live band the shilights. Local photographer Carl Danly will provide on the spot photography services. Matishai Bland has been provided with $5,000-$10,000 and 18 months to host this special surprise party for Mr. and Mrs. Bland Sr.

Project Deliverables

Project deliverables will include the party facilities, banquet program, decorations, catering service, and entertainment.
Project Objectives

The objective of this surprise party project is extravagant gathering, a memorable milestone birthday experience and provide Mr. Bland Jr. with a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction. The banquet and party are expected to take place on 06/17/19 in the community banquet hall and fine arts center with a guest list of 200 attendees. The event will be an elegant extravaganza, which is expected to fall within a budget of $5,000-$10,000.

Project Assumptions

Matishia Bland will provide an error-free service in a timely manner. Projects task will resemble that of an extravagant yet elegant surprise 40th birthday party. The party will provide enjoyable and unforgettable memories for decades to come.

Project Constraints

The project manager is authorize to decide on allocating resources within a budget constraints, hire the project team, delegate responsibilities within the framework of the project, and to communicate with Mr. and Mrs. Bland Sr. for approval to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
Exclusions

The project manager is responsible for developing the project plan, monitoring the schedule, ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner, monitor the cost of resources, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain control over the project workflow at every step.

Acceptance Criteria

Our ability to stay in budget and help the couple implement and manage all necessary tasks within the scope of this project, which is required to host a wedding deemed successful by its customers.

Technical Requirements

The party should flow seamlessly from one activity to the next. The banquet will begin promptly with program and dinner to be served during, followed by the party.
