Discussion Forum assignment, you and your assigned partner for the compensation project need to submit work to get you started on step 2 in my Instructions for Team Project document (which is part of Task B).- (Next, provide the definitions for each compensable factor and associated degree scores for each compensable factor. There are a total of six compensable factors, each with 4 degrees. In the report, please include the degree score definitions for Education Level (the example provided in case) for completeness. Your team will need to define degree scores for the remaining compensable factors (this is preparation work for completing Task B and should be posted in the Discussion Forum for Week 6).) You can do this before completing step 1. In particular, in this post:
1. Provide a definition for the six compensable factors shown in the table on page 50 of the Student Manual for the project (education level, degree of technical skills, scope of control, impact of job, degree of problem-solving, and task complexity). Be sure that your definitions refer to JOB requirements, not a person's skills or abilities. They also should be defined in a broad enough way that it can describe a variety of jobs (e.g., administrative roles, operations analysts, unit managers).
2. Define four degree scores for each of the compensable factors. The scores for education level degrees are provided on page 50 of the Student Manual. You need to do the same for the remaining five compensable factors; the degree scores should reflect increasing levels of difficulty in the job requirements, per your definition of each compensable factor.
