UNIT SYLLABUS Fundamentals of Management introduces the principles underpinning management theory and practice. The unit facilitates basic understanding and application of following management concepts – management functions, managerial roles & skills, globalisation, ethics, business environment & its impact.
INTRODUCTION Welcome to Fundamentals of Management1100.The aim of this unit is to provide you with a basic understanding of management practices and processes, so that you may enter the workforce with an ability to comprehend why managers behave and act in the ways they do. The FUNM1100 teaching team hopes that you find the unit of practical benefit, and that you enjoy the learning experience.
LEARNING OUTCOMES All graduates of Curtin College and Curtin University achieve a set of nine graduate attributes during their course of study.
