The Honorable Gray Peters,
124 West Allegan Street
Suite 1400
Lansing, MI 48933

Dear Senator Gray Peters:
Introduction
The administration of justice is the process by which the legal system of a government is executed. The presumed goal of such administration is to provide justice for all those accessing the legal system. The administration of justice is a crucial part of our democracy designed to prevent and control crime, shield the public from harm, provide detention and rehabilitation services, and finally, ensure equal justice for all citizens through the judicial system.
The problem- Problem about the Civil Rights & the Administration of Justice
Location of the problem- In Michigan
The reason of affection- Gary has worked with civil rights groups and law enforcement organizations to address the tough issues confronting the Michigan as a nation. So Senator Gary is very affected of what is happening to the Michiganders civil rights. Michigan was founded on the principles of equality, justice, and freedom for all, the struggle for civil rights and true equality continues today. Whether it is ensuring equal access to the ballot box, equality in our justice system or equal treatment under the law, Gary is fighting to make our democracy stronger and fairer for everyone. Every Michigan voter should have the freedom to have his or her voice heard in our elections.
You need to ensure that not even one family in Michigan should undergo through discrimination during your period as a senator. As a senator, the wise thing to do is to back up the historic choices made by the Supreme Courts that affirms that each American has the liberty to marry whoever they’ve loved and raise that family union without any fear that they might be made to part ways at some point in life.
He is affected about the people because Michiganders who has the right to vote, to speak and to show what they really are; he is supporter for LGBTQ community also. He is so affected because he saw what the nation need to fulfill and he saw that the main problem of the nation is about the Administration of justice and the civil rights of individual.
Gary has secured funding for Project Safe Neighborhood, which is a proven program that uses data-driven strategies to successfully reduce gun and drug related violence in communities all across Michigan.
He knows how important it is for communities and law enforcement to come together to make our neighborhoods safer places and is working to help provide the resources needed to intervene and prevent violence.
Too many precious lives have been lost to injustice and inequities persist. Civil unrest in our communities has underscored that the fact that our justice system faces serious challenges from unsustainable costs to overcrowded prisons to disparities in the grand jury process.
The prevalence of the problem- The Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI), or Proposal 2 (Michigan 06-2), was a ballot initiative in the U.S. state of Michigan that passed into Michigan Constitutional law by a 58% to 42% margin on November 7, 2006, according to results officially certified by the Michigan Secretary of State. By Michigan law, the Proposal became law on December 22, 2006. MCRI was a citizen initiative aimed at stopping discrimination based on race, color, sex, or religion in admission to colleges, jobs, and other publicly funded institutions - effectively prohibiting affirmative action by public institutions based on those factors.
- How can i address the issue. I have to use evidence, court cases, criminal justice policy, or any item to support the stance and strengthen my argument-
Michigan Department of Civil Rights is a department of the Michigan State Government created in 1965 to support the work of the Michigan Civil Rights Commission of Michigan's Constitution of 1963.
The Department of Civil Rights investigates and resolves discrimination complaints and works to prevent discrimination through educational programs that promote voluntary compliance with civil rights laws.
Additionally, the lawmakers ought to adopt greater standards of evidence for the enforcement process of the law to charge property for instance in the civil proceedings. The standards ought to be raised to greater levels without doubt and making them to rhyme to the same tune with the criminal justice system in United States of America. The states that have met the standards are California, Nebraska,Montana,North Carolina, Minnesota,New Mexico, Minnesota and Vermont. Michigan also should join the above states.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the lawmakers ought to adopt strong and standardized confiscation reporting needs in line with the excellent practices stated above. Although some of the states have acknowledged the necessity for high levels of transparency, poor-quality reporting and insufficient detail stands to be the rule. The lawmakers and the entire public remain on the darkness concerning most charges, dark about most confiscation activity and pay out. States that lack powerful reporting needs ought to institute them. They should make sure that the obligations are followed with outcomeslike financial punishment for noncompliance.
Sincerely yours,
xxx
