What is an IP address ?
Introduction: IP address stands for Internet Protocol. This is the recognition for every computer on Ethernet network like every home has street address. Each computer has unique IP address. Each IP address has numbers divided into 4 divisions such as 192.168.0.1 and the range is 0 to 255. This is the most charming product in each computer. With the help of IP address, we can easily communicate with another device via internet. These days every home or any store will have the IP address which is assigned by router through internet medium using DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). Because of the unique IP address for each computer there is a safe environment in local networking. When the IP address is given to computer via network is a local address. If the IP address is not assigned by router then we need to setup manually. It other context it is defined as TCP/IP stands for Transfer Control Protocol which is defined as how the information is transmitting on a network. There are billions of IP addresses. In general, IP address is used as a search term in various search engines such as Google, Bing etc. Christenson, P. 2016, September 21
There are different types of IP addresses such as private IP addresses, public IP addresses, static IP addresses and dynamic addresses. Private addresses name itself defined it is a private which is inside a network at home. These type of IP addresses works under one router network to communicate and it can be setup manually or automatically with the help of router. Public IP addresses works at public zone i.e. outside the network which is used to reach any public websites and to communicate with other computers directly. Each IP address is assigned by DHCP and if it is not assigned they must set up manually. IP address can be either static or dynamic. Dynamic IP address is a temporary which means assigned each time when a computer joined to specific network. The cost for this cheaper because of more subscribers, whereas static IP addresses which mostly preferred for gaming, online and static is less secure compared to dynamic. An IP address can act as a host identification and finding the location of the computer.
There are two versions of IP and they are IPv4 and IPv6. IPv6 is the latest version of the IP address. IPv6 provides more number of IP addresses than IPv4. IPv4 provides around 4 billion unique IP addresses whereas IPv6 gives around 340 trillion of IP addresses which means a person as many devices as can to internet which is more beneficial than IPv4. IPv6 has less issues compared to IPv4 more efficient routing, easy configuration and fast. There are many diagnostic tools which takes care of IP address issues and easily troubleshoot and get back normal state. The header of each IP contains the sender information and receiver information and host may use latitude and longitude location. In the public addresses, we can easily find who made the changes and who changed the settings which means using the IP addresses it is easy to track the device. Tim Fisher 2017
Conclusion: To conclude this, I would say as the technology keeps increasing and new innovative devices are coming in to the market and each device is having internet, working with the help of Wi-Fi and each device is having a unique IP address without any conflict. These days online services are using a lot and personal browsing is changed and website has been increased. In schools, the education is mostly using computers hooked to internet and get the access and that internet provider either may be Internet Service Provider at home or public. There are some protocols which needs to use any website or any search and all this will take care by IP address. Since Internet Service Provider like Time Warner Cable, AT&T provides the internet and their role is to assign IP address to the computer and easily access to the internet. Whole world is running with the help of IP address like Bank sectors, financial, Universities, Telecom etc.

What are bandwidth and broadband?
Introduction: Bandwidth and broadband are the two key roles in the IT context. Bandwidth is defined as the amount of data that can be transferred from one end to other end which is called data transfer rate. Usually this rate is measured in bits per sec(bps) or with higher speed it is mentioned as megabits per second (Mbps) or (Gbps -Gigabits per second). This is one of the factor to understand the performance. Bandwidth is the range of frequencies which is how fast the data is transferred. Every time we use the internet, the speed of the browsing how fast it connects depends on the bandwidth. If the bandwidth is slow then it will affect the speed of the internet. Broadband is defined as the ability of the Internet Service Provider to transmit the data to and from which means the multiple signals and the traffic and the medium can be optical fiber. The term broadband refers to a telecommunications signal of higher bandwidth. Chelsea 2016.
The wider the bandwidth capacity the more information can be carried. Sometimes we notice that the internet speed is slow and this is because of the poor bandwidth which means bandwidth plays a major role at the internet speed. This bandwidth depends on the number of users, number of devices connected to that internet and is that web page using high speed (video streaming or live streaming) or low (emailing). Different applications require different bandwidth like instant messaging takes less than 1000 bps whereas video will take 1 Mbps and HD video takes 7 Mbps so it varies on the quality. Usually bandwidth is the range of frequencies which is measured in Hertz.
Broadband has different high-speed transmission technologies such as Digital Subscriber Line, cable modem, fiber, wireless, satellite and Broad band power lines. Digital Subscriber Line is when the copper telephone lines are setup before then the transmission of data over that copper lines are more faster and ranging around to millions of bits per second whereas cable modem is used for the tv and other picture sets. Fiber optic technology is the innovative technology which converts electric signals having data to light so that the transmission is fast in fraction of seconds. Wireless connects home or business using the radio link between customer and provider. Margaret Rouse 2014.
Conclusion: With all these tremendous advances of technology and integration, the speed of internet is faster than ever before and mobile applications are booming in the smartphones because of high-speed internet. As the technology keep growing it is easy to transfer huge files from one end to other end through internet in short time and easily can store files in the cloud if we have speed internet only if there is a high bandwidth. Now a day’s everyone can see what is happening and people are very updated what is going on around just because of high-speed bandwidth which is used in mobile easy access. In marine, navy and other military places they need high bandwidth internet so that they can prepare before. All the mobiles are having 3G and 4G broadband which has high capacity to pull the data or to browse.
