Bradstreet/Edwards Response
For your first discussion board about the reading, you will respond to one of the assigned short stories (you can respond to more than one if you like). Write a response with your thoughts and reactions to this story. Each one of you will have a different response to the story; after all, we bring in our own backgrounds and experiences when we read it. I am not looking for a “pat answer.” Just tell me what you think, and use specific references to the story when you are giving me your thoughts.
Write in a traditional paragraph format (it shouldn’t be one long paragraph!) and don’t forget to check your spelling when you finish. This assignment should be approximately one hundred and fifty words.
Please write your reaction to the story before reading everyone else's. That way, your response will be unique to you. Remember, there is no right or wrong answer as long as you support your argument with examples and quotations from the story.
