Scenario 2:
Being a person known for his integrity and credibility, Mr. Davis has been teaching in his school district for the past 10 years. I n the coming months, his student Tom, mother is running for a city position in the district. Mr. Davis was asked to serve as her Campaign Manager. The mother sent Mr. Davis several gifts as a thank you by her son for his time and commitment. Mr. Davis started treating Tom more favorably in the classroom which was noticed by the other students. Also, Mr. Davis printed off several flyers at school in the copy room to be posted throughout the local neighborhoods.
Did Mr. Davis commit /violate any ethical standard according to NEA, NAEYC, MS Educator Code of Ethics Standards of Conduct, and INTASC Core Model Standards? Identify the violated standards in each professional organization and explain in detail how this action was / was not a violation.
