Assignment 1
Upload a list of Persuasive Topics. (The purpose of this assignment is to determine that students understand the basics of creating a "Persuasive" topic as opposed to an Informative or Entertaining topic.) Students may use any of the accepted topics as the topic for their persuasive speech.
The topic must be written as a Declarative Statement. Assignment 1 Topics must NOT be written as questions. Topics must NOT be written as a vague topic.
Include one statement that would be considered The Satisfaction Step in The Monroe Motivated Sequence.
1. Create a list of three Persuasive Speech Topics you might choose for your persuasive speech. Each topic must be written as a Declarative Statement. Do NOT use questions as topics.
2. Defend why you chose each topic.
3. Explain why this is a persuasive and not informative topic.
4. Show the "Satisfaction Step" for each speech. (Check The Monroe Motivated Sequence for the meaning of "Satisfaction Step".

Topic: We must stop using social media as a political tool (Note - this is a declarative sentence)
Defend why YOU chose this topic. What is your credibility, reason for being interested, why you thought it applied to this audience.
