There is no way I would cut that check. 2,000 bucks may seem like nothing for a big company, and or, it may make a huge difference for a small mom and pop business. Nevertheless, I would not cut this check. In the first place, I’m not sure if this some kind of a scam this co-worker is doing. VIP or not, most of these checks must go through chain of eyes and management for approvals. I can understand if this comes from the owner or someone from the top. But even then, they would need to have the correct information on the invoice. I’m not risking my job for 2,000 bucks. This amount of money, even if it’s less, would need to be brought up with the managers or whomever is involved with this VIP client. I would need to send an email, including this co-worker about this transaction. The client might receive a notice some time down the road about this and they would have no clue what’s going on. This co-worker can cause a lot of problems with this client, who knows, and the company could even lose this client.

1. when it comes to finances, we all want to know where our money is going to. I believe this is the as the majority of most companies as well. As for the question, "Should you write this check today and record the expense or write the check tomorrow"? That would all have to depend on what the expenses are going for. It say for supplies, but can that person show me a generic supply list that they are want to purchase with the remainder of those funds, if so then I would be more that glad to fulfill their request.
2. A company would be affected by the means of opportunity, this will weaken the internal control of the business. It can also affect the people within the company, which then affects the productivity and flow of the company. People may become or feel pressured financially, their family may be a factor, along with stressors from home, work and life in general. These are all factors what could affect not only the company financially, but physically as well..
3. The four closing journal entries are, Close Revenue Accounts, Close Expense Accounts, Close Income Summary Account, and Close Withdrawals Account. These accounts are necessary because, the accounts do not roll over into the next year. By closing these accounts, you are bringing the balances back to zero.

Having good communication and planning really helps with balancing your responsibilities. If you know you have a busy schedule one week but the week before you’re more free then making sure that you fit in time with others and for yourself during that free week will keep things balanced. You can avoid being overwhelmed by working or school and avoid neglecting friends and family this way.
Prioritization is a very useful time management strategy that I use. It really helps me stay on track and finish the things that are due the soonest or are the most important first.
There was a time I procrastinated on finishing a certification. The final task I had to do to finish the certification was a very boring one. I kept struggling to concentrate on the task because of how boring it was and so I kept stopping and doing something else. The consequences of doing this were that I was late in completing the task and it negatively affected my grades and ability to finish getting my certification. I think using the reward system would have really helped in that situation. I know it will help in future situations as well. If I plan rewards for myself for completing a particularly difficult task or completing section of it than I'll be more motivated to do it.

I balance my time and prioritize my personal responsibilities by pacing my everyday lifestyle. I work around the clock to fit my supportive resources that allow me to have things in order day by day. When I first attempt to go to school back in 2014, I did not have the support I have now. The beginning of the week is when I realize that I can handle all my important business because I have help from my family. I was procrastinating a lot of times before due to the fact I had children. It was hard at first trying to attend school, work, and also taking care of two little ones but I waited for them to start school so I could get back focusing on my own goals and career. My strategy that I have is to get things done early through the week. I find time easier in the morning when my mind is fresh and focus because its more quiet in my home. I have learn some things about myself and one is that if I don't get things done when my mind is on it then things might not get done.

Medicine comes from a variety of things, including plants and animals. I was astonished to see how the Aloe plant heals so well. My grandmother has an aloe plant in her kitchen window, and she told me that this plant is good for healing wounds and burns. Therefore, I would like to present the Aloe plant to the class. The scientific name for this plant is Aloe Vera. According to research, the Aloe vera is a medicinal plant that has been around treating a variety of health conditions for thousands of years (Cronkleton, 2018). I can honestly say that this plant is still effective in healing wounds today. My grandmother uses the vera directly from the plant; but it can be bought in a gel form. The Aloe vera creams, gels, and ointments are made from the aloe vera leaves and may be sold in capsules or liquid form to take internally to promote health and well-being (Cronkleton, 2018).
The Aloe Vera has proven by many studies to be medicinally effective (see the references below). It heals burns, improves digestive health, promotes oral health, clears acnes, and relieves anal fissures (Cronkleton, 2018). Aloe vera is often used to treat burns because of the soothing, moisturizing, and cooling properties it has (Cronkleton, 2018). Research indicates that the aloe may benefit the digestive tract and cure stomach ailments such as irritable bowel syndrome (Cronkleton, 2018). Using the aloe vera in toothpaste and mouthwash improves oral hygiene and reduces plaque (Cronkleton, 2018). “Acne products made with aloe may be less irritating to the skin that traditional acne treatments” (Cronkleton, 2018). The aloe vera cream has proven to effectively heal anal fissures as well (Cronkleton, 2018).
Finally, obtaining an Aloe plant may be an advantage to help with health issues. The Aloe plant is one of the most widely used medicinal plants on the planet (Rhoades, 2020). This plant is like a cactus and does best in dry conditions and requires bright light.

I decided to research a plant that can be used for medicinal purposes. I found the Chang Shan, Dichroa Root, or more commonly, the Asian Hydrangea. This is a blue evergreen hydrangea, native to Nepal and Southern China. This plant contains a chemical called Halofuginone, that has been shown to be beneficial for a few different health conditions such as arthritis, psoriasis, and autoimmune diseases (DeNoon, 2009). It seems like this can be attributed to an immune cell called the TH17cell. This is the cell that acts up in autoimmune diseases. Research is still being conducted into how this cell could be used to help fight autoimmune diseases. At the Jackson Laboratory, they have tested this herb in rats to see if they can decrease Multiple Sclerosis (The Jackson Laboratory, n.d.).
This plant has been deemed an “Orphan Drug”, by the FDA, which means that it is an agent that has been developed specifically to treat a rare medical condition. It has been deemed this because of Sclerderma which is an autoimmune condition that attacks the skin and internal organs. (Halofuginone Receives FDA Orphan Drug Status For Scleroderma, 2000). It seems like most of the research into this drug is from the early 2000’s. I need to do more research on what has happened since then. I wonder if the big pharmaceutical companies are pursuing more chemical based medications because they are able to charge more for them than they would for a more organic, homeopathic solution.
