Case analysis should be a maximum five pages (approximately 1500 words), excluding exhibit. Use 12 point font and double-space with 1" margins. Please include original exhibits and carts as necessary to support your analysis. Answer the following questions:
1. How was GoPro different from other players in the industry?
2. Discuss Nicholas Woodman’s role in making GoPro a market leader.
3. What type of innovation was the GoPro action camera? What made this camera successful when video cameras (camcorders) and smartphones already existed?
4. How did GoPro market itself? Can part of GoPro’s success be attributed to its marketing strategy? How did GoPro benefit from its marketing?

• Read the entire case, jotting down your notes.
• As you write your case analysis, please include appropriate references to the assigned reading within the text.
• Even if there are questions associated to the case, it is a good idea to make sure to have the sections presented below (Summary, Analysis and Recommendations and References). You can name your paragraphs and section in a different way from what is proposed, but make sure you follow a similar logic.
