FAITH INTEGRATION INSTRUCTIONS 

You will write a 1,000 word essay in current APA format that focuses on how biblical concepts are related to research within your field. The essay must incorporate a thoughtful analysis (considering assumptions, analyzing implications, comparing/contrasting concepts) of research and your faith. The essay must include at least 3 peer-reviewed references in addition to the Bible and course textbook. A proper title page and reference page should be included, and do not count towards the 1,000 words. An abstract is not needed. You may use portions of the biblical content section from Project E, however, there should be new information in addition to what has been provided in Project E.

Important Notes: 

• The essay had major points stated clearly, with a clear, logical flow

• The essay was supported by at least 3 peer-reviewed references in addition to the Bible and the textbook. The references brought clarity to the concepts being discussed, and related to biblical principles.

• There was thoughtful analysis (considering assumptions, analyzing implications, comparing/contrasting concepts) of accounting/finance topics with regard to personal faith.

• There were no more than two spelling, grammar, or APA errors in the essay.

1. Chapter One

i. Fish can swim and breath in water. If taken out of water it will not be able to free if we alter the reality of its nature. Same with planes and birds. If they follow the laws they will a “Freedom is not the absence of restrictions but finding the right ones”

ii. This reminds me of a famous Albert Einstein Quote: “Everybody is a geniun. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole live believing that its stupid”

2. Chapter four Service:

i. “How with my existing abilities and opportunities can I be of greater service to other people”-Ch 4Keller, T., Alsdorf, K. L., & Redeemer Presbyterian Church (New York, N. (2012). Every good endeavor: Connecting your work to God's work. New York, N.Y.: Dutton.

ii. This is such an impactful statement and in many instances I feel that the companies who are going to survive in the next few years are the once who provide and exceptional experience to service their customers. For Example Amazon, Apple, Disney. They always put their customers/guests(as Disney calls them) at the from of their mission. The experience that a guest has walking into their stores or interating with their product must always be seamless and unforgettable.

iii. I once heard a story that when the first iphone came out and the box was opened the phone had to be placed face up because the screen acted like a mirror and when it was picked up and customers saw themselves in it, it would already feel familiar because of the reflection.

iv. Service to others in business is what keeps these large companies going I do not know if they would use scripture to document their values although it is without a question the result that matters most in service not the path.
