Assignment 1 Brief and Guidance: 

        You are a trainee research assistant, currently working for a research company in Oman. Your company is working towards developing an information booklet to motivate the young and aspiring entrepreneurs. As part of the process, you were expected to explore and illustrate a range of venture types that might be considered entrepreneurial, with suitable local examples to support your views on each type of venture. You were expected to choose
local businesses to develop your report. You are advised to refrain from using large, multinational corporations as the purpose of the booklet is to motivate the young and aspiring entrepreneurs.   

      The task also expects you collect suitable data and assess the impact of small businesses on the economy. Your information needs to be submitted in the form of a formal written report and needs to be based on a range of different examples.

Your report needs to critically examine,  

i. the scope, development and growth of the entrepreneurial ventures AND

ii. how small businesses have an impact on different economic levels of the economy in a local, regional, national and international context.

You may conduct either Primary research or secondary research, to collect the required information among the chosen local companies.    

Primary research may include the use of interviews, existing videos or questionnaires completed by practicing 

Entrepreneur, while secondary research may involve the use of reliable information that is available in the internet and the prevailing or existing results of market research.

You are to present your findings in the form of a formal written report that will be submitted to the CEO of your company.
