Review of the Literature
Here you will identify and explore the two-three studies that you have selected for the synthesis paper. This is sort of a smaller first draft of your literature review
Subheading (Big Idea)
Organize the literature review with subheadings if appropriate.
Analysis
Analyze the different perspectives from the literature (compare and contrast). Opine these issues and discuss their implications by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of your three articles. Be sure to consider what they offer you in understanding your focus area/question as well as any critiques you have of what they DO NOT do for your understanding. In other words, why does it matter?
Conclusions
State your conclusions from your reading.
References
Insert your references in APA format here (Please use hanging indent). Don’t forget to include DOIs for your articles. If you can’t find them on the article check crossref.org.

Attachment 2:
Research Question: How to implement restorative practices to enhance classroom management?
Come up with a big idea from the above research question. Locate 2-3 peer-reviewed primary research articles related to your big idea. Remember, a peer-reviewed primary research article is an article written by the researchers who describe their own study. (An unpublished dissertation does not count as peer-reviewed primary research.) Read 2-3 peer-reviewed primary research articles and gather information about your big idea. Do not simply list the information, but rather begin to synthesize the information to use for your final literature review assignment.
Write a synthesis paper, using your big idea as a theme to answer your research question, with the literature as supporting evidence for that theme. Consider these questions as you write: But do not write the questions. 1- restate the question in your own words 2- answer the question from your viewpoint of a reader/participant in the study 3- cite evidence from the readings that help to prove your thinking
What ideas/ findings of the study help answer your research question and support your big idea?
How is the study important to helping you answer your research question?
How do the study participants compare from study to study?
How do the findings of each study compare and contrast with each other?
What are some of the strengths and weaknesses of these studies?
