Change Management Strategies
I chose XYZ Company for my case study on change management where I requested the company management for an interview with one of their representatives to collect more information. The company successfully approved my request and gave me an office telephone number and appropriate time to call the representative from the human resource department. The interview through the phone with the company representative focused on three basic questions concerning the company change management strategies that contributed to the current status. During the conversation I had to inform miss X (company representative) about being an MBA student and why the case study was necessary. One of the questions I addressed to the representative is about the current change where the XYZ Company reduced the number of employee turnover from the past high numbers. The response from the representative indicated that two years ago the company hired a new C.E.O that contributed to the current transformation (Robbins & Judge, 2019). Miss X described the C.E.O as A transformative leader with a flexible and open mind having the company and employees needs at heart.
The second question of the interview was about the poor customer response about company products and also a smaller number of sales. The representative claimed that the organization is in a drastic change of issues and a roadmap in place that employees and other stakeholders are using and soon the results will be experienced. The final question was about the ways in which the organization is using to ensure the employees stick to the organization goals and roadmap without focusing on their interests. According to the representative the company has implemented incentives that encourage employees to follow and adhere to the new direction of the company (Robbins & Judge, 2019). The employees were encouraged to offer their views before the implementation of the direction hence the resistance was minimal.
