1)you have been working for four years in a bank branch located in the front section of a large grocery store. For the last two years, the branch has been underperforming and a poor place to work—tellers show up late, cash drawers are often out of balance, and the customer service numbers for your branch are in the bottom quarter when compared to other branches of your bank. As a result of these problems, the branch manager was removed from your branch. Today, the regional manager offered you the job on an interim basis. The terms of your job include a three-month trial period, and if all goes well, you will be made the branch manager. You know that the problems in your branch stem in part from the lack of trust and respect for the prior branch manager. While you know the employees will be happy the old boss is gone, you are not sure how they will feel about your promotion to be their new manager.
o So where would you begin?
o How would you go about building a solid foundation of trust in your leadership?
o How would you address the poor financial performance? (Remember, you are a branch so you cannot do your own marketing)
o Considering you were just recently a peer of your associates, and now their manager, would there be any critical things to do or not to do.

1. On January 30, 2018, three major US corporations, Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, and JPMorgan Chase announced their partnership to create solutions to address the healthcare needs of their US employees. Based on decision making situations outlined in chapter four of Zikmund et al. (9th ed.)textbook where potential situations are categorized based on the degree of certainty or ambiguity and perception of problem vs opportunity, how would you categorize this decision? Based on your analysis, discuss how you would evaluate the classification that is presented in your textbook? Limit your response to 150 words.
2)Suppose you are trying to collect data for a research project by conducting an online survey. Based on the discussions presented in chapter five of Zikmund et al. (9th ed.) textbook, what information will you provide to your targeted audience in order to address some of the ethical issues in data collection. Limit your response to 150 words.
3)
Review the article by Paulson et al. (2012). Based on what was discussed in chapter three of Zikmund et al. (9th ed.) textbook and the theories discussed in the article, what would be your proposition if you were given an opportunity to present your case in favor of conducting research on this matter. Based on your proposition, create a hypothesis that could be used in your research. Finally, how would you restructure the employee benefits package if your hypothesis was confirmed.
