Had upper respiratory infection symptoms, +rhinorrhea, +nasal congestion, +cough for 1 week , which resolved 4 days ago. No temperature with URI but temp was 102 F yesterday and today. Mom is giving Tylenol for fever and pain. Patient more tired than usual, taking additional naps during afternoon and waking up at night in pain. No change in feeding or elimination patterns. Mom noted that she has to talk louder than usual for Brandon to hear her when he is watching TV or reading a book. Patient also had been feeling dizzy occasionally while playing outside with his brother. No sick contacts. Medical history: Acute otitis media twice in the past 3 years. No overnight hospitalizations or surgeries Family history: Father (alive) and paternal grandfather (deceased at age 71) both had hypertension. Medications: None Allergies: NKDA Social history: Lives with parents and 3-year-old brother. Attends kindergarten. Father works at a construction agency.
