NUTRITION RESEARCH PAPER TOPIC GUIDELINES
Topic: Diabetes insipidus and pregnancy
The student will choose a topic of interest and conduct a review of recent literature on the chosen topic.

The student will choose a topic of interest and conduct a review of recent literature on the chosen topic.
The chosen topic must be unique to each individual and presented to instructor prior to the student beginning research on the topic, for approval.
The paper body will have a minimum length is 2400 words. (Max 2900). Single page in APA format is about 250-300 words per page.
This does not include the title page or reference page.
The paper is to be in APA format and grammatically correct. Use word count to ensure the paper is the proper length (Word count not number of pages will be checked)
Minimum of 8 different references are required, 5 of which must be peer reviewed.

Paper must be uploaded and receive a Turnitin score of 25% or less.*
Grading*:
Nutrition Content Information (100 points)*
(50% must cover relative nutritional aspects if clinical disease or general health topic is used.)
Quality of information (see criteria below)* 60 points
Cohesiveness and relevance to topic 40
Use of citations and references: (45 points does not include format)
In Text citations** 20

*Quality of information: sections with content from sources that do not meet criteria will receive no credit or partial credit.

Deductions MAY be made for:
Material from inappropriate, uncited, or inadequately referenced sources will result in significant deductions from applicable grading sections above as improperly cited/referenced information is plagiarized material.
