Assignment Brief
In pairs undertake performance review interviews where one student is the Appraiser and the other is the Appraisee. You will then reverse roles. Each interview will be 15 minutes (30 minutes in total)
The interviews will allow both the appraiser and appraisee to review their teamworking and leadership styles and skills. Appraisers will need to prepare questions to elicit a range of examples from their appraisees and to enable them to critique their own performance. Questions should also be prepared to enable appraisees to suggest S.M.A.R.T strategies/activities to improve their own leadership and teamworking performance.
Appraisers should produce:
A proforma for appraisees to complete in advance of the role play to help them prepare
2) A list of questions to ask in the appraisal interview
3) A proforma sheet to record the interview discussion/outcome.
All interviews will be conducted via TEAMS and recorded during the session.
Completed forms should be submitted to the tutor at end of the interview.
Secondary research sources should be used to create forms/write questions (and referenced).
