Reflect on the assigned readings for the week. Identify what you thought was the most important concept(s), method(s), term(s), and/or any other thing that you felt was worthy of your understanding.
Also, provide a graduate-level response to each of the following questions:
Research has shown that Monday is the highest negative-affect day across most cultures. However, in some countries, negative affect is lower on Friday and Saturday than on Sunday. What are two explanations for this discrepancy?

1. Some might argue that emotional regulation is an unethical behavior. Why might someone take this position?
2. Some countries, such as Japan and Russia, embrace negative emotions. What has been found to be a result of this focus on negative emotions?
