The healthcare system is growing in the U. S. and around the world. We have to participate in the

evolution being more than a care professionals practice in an environment that is complex, with many regulations, laws and standards of practice. We must promote our profession in the community explaining who we are and what we do based on policy and politics. People have to be aware that nurse practitioners are healthcare provider with our many new ideas and skills that can be effective tools in healthcare reform. Health providers are out there with a lot of health information, opinions, and advice. Providing excellent care, with good outcomes, is a big first step. We must continue to do that and to document how effective our care is so we can show the results (Giwa, O.Salami, & O’Rourke, 2020).

The main objectives of a health delivery system are to allow all people to receive health care services when they need it regardless of their ability to pay their job or income and provide the services meeting the highest standards of quality. There are many players in the system such as nurses, clinicians, administrators of health service institutions, insurance companies, large employers, and the government. It is important to find balance between the roles of all of them to deliver timely, efficient, and appropriate health care (Graves et al., 2016).

Many studies have showed the great acceptance, effectiveness and excellent outcomes of our care. We need to demonstrate how much we have to offer to the community to make them choose us and stay with us because we listen to our patients, take time with them, advocate for them, and are able to diagnose and treat also (Xue, Ye, Brewer & Spetz, 2016).
