The PCN framework can also be used in the future of palliative care to improve the structure of healthcare by developing treatment plans which will improve the care for people with acute and chronic illnesses. For example, the PCN framework can be used when attending to a patient needing long-term care. In applying this model the health organization will create a supportive environment which promotes effective nurse-patient interaction and efficient coordination of care. This calls for the incorporation of various healthcare policies, and nursing informatics which are needed to improve the healthcare system. The nurse practitioner will provide emotional support to the patient by showing compassion and concern in addressing the needs of the patient. The nurse will also encourage communication with the client by sharing important and educative information. The nurse will also encourage the involvement of social relationships of friends and family through the treatment process.
Conclusion
The PCN framework addresses each of the four components of nursing metaparadigm by incorporating them as key performance indicators needed to improve the effectiveness of the model in improving care. This makes this model an important resource in evaluating the basic principles and values which are needed in nursing practice. This model can be used by a Palliative Care Practitioner as a framework for practice in developing effective treatment plans for patients. B y completing this assignment I have learned that the PCN framework covers all the important elements needed to improve nursing practice. This includes the macro elements which relate to how organizations can improve strategic leadership, health, and social care policies, workforce development, and strategic framework as an approach to improving the quality of care and treatment .

Consider changing the title to Week 5: Application of Theory or something like that. Your Running head could just be Application of Theory
See Rubric #5 under Best Practices in Preparing the Project
Start with a broad overview of why we even have models or theories. What is their purpose?
“The nursing profession is driven by fundamental beliefs or theories about how practice should be conducted. W
Without the structure and guidance theories provide, the practice of nursing would lose its foundation, resulting in inconsistency and ultimately, poor patient outcomes.
While there are a plethora of theoretical models and frameworks nurses can apply to their practice, the one chosen for evaluation is the Person-Centered Nursing (PCN) Framework.”
You do not capitalize this throughout the rest of your paper. It needs to be consistent
Omit ‘main’ it will make the paper flow better and sound more professional
Spell out the first time. How would PCN impact an Master of Science in nursing? Are you trying to say a student enrolled in the program?
Move this title to the center of the page and capitalize Overview
I don’t think this needs to be in quotes.
I would say: person or persons within the care delivery continuum. (end the sentence here)

APA: can only use et al. the first time a reference is cited when there are six or more authors…double check that this is the case on this reference.
Also, you need a comma (,) after al.

“The aspects of these components illustrate…”
Also, I would not have this as a new paragraph, it is still attached to the content of the previous sentence.
those being
Make this a new paragraph and start it: Regarding the concept of person, … (it will flow better and sound more professional)
Don’t think you need the (‘).
Do you mean students?
…the concept of person also includes the rights and responsibilities of both those enrolled in nursing programs as well as those nurses currently practicing.
