PHILOSOPHCAL ORIENTATN TO EDUCATION FINAL PAPER

The final paper is due this Friday. It must include all 6 authors with quotes and correct citations

After you have drafted a response to Freire and Noddings, draw upon the first two papers response papers by selecting (cutting and pasting) sections from what I have written and write a paper of 6 to 8 pages developing a coherent response to the educational issues I have addressed. (I ATTACHED MY FIRST TWO RESPONSE PAPERS. READ THEM AND FIND CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE FIRST TWO AND THEN INCLUDE THEM IN THE THIRD PAPER.) 

Identify over-arching ideas that you can use to coordinate the sections you selected from all of your previous papers with a discussion that includes your response to Freire and Noddings.

Using the various authors, include agreements where they occur as well as contrasting views, shared or competing assumptions, and the effect of context in the author’s position. Discuss how you see each author to add additional insights into the issues you focus on, whether in agreement or disagreement. Show how each perspective illuminates the issues by showing possible solutions or indicating problems.

As with the response papers, the third response paper should include an introductory paragraph giving a clear statement of the perspective you will develop. Discussion of the various authors should include clear and explicit transitions indicating how you see the authors’ contribution to your understanding of the issue. 

The paper should include a final paragraph stating a conclusion based upon your developed understanding of the issues you have discussed.

Use at least two quotations with citations from each course readings to support your discussion. Be sure to include all six authors. The bulk of the paper, however, should be your own thoughts on the issue.

You may not use secondary sources, including the editor’s introductions to the course readings.
