Initial Post Instructions Go to the site: https://www.politicalcompass.org. (Links to an external site.) Scroll to the end of the site where it says "take the test." Answer all of the questions. After you answer the questions, there will be a chart with your Economic and Social numbers.
After taking the political compass test, tell the class what your scores are and what they mean. Then, analyze why you believe the results or do not believe the scores. Finally, discuss how this course has been beneficial to your daily life and career choice. Use evidence (cite sources) to support your response from assigned readings or online lessons, and at least one outside scholarly source.
Follow-Up Post Instructions Respond to at least two peers or one peer and the instructor. Further the dialogue by providing more information and clarification. Minimum of 1 scholarly source, which can include your textbook or assigned readings or may be from your additional scholarly research.

I know by now many have completed the Political Typology Quiz. What did Course Members think of the Political Typology Quiz (Links to an external site.) ? Is it accurate? When we take the Political Typology Quiz it becomes apparent that defining our political leanings along a single, one-dimensional left-to-right line is not totally accurate when we look at our individual political positions. The Political Quiz has added a second line to the equation to cover the social dimension of politics. That is where the authoritarian idea comes in. It is a way to categorize how we personally would like to manage our political philosophies. Is Liberal vs. Conservative a better way to determine how we feel on social issues?
