I'm working on a sports management report and need a sample draft to help me study.
terms papers must contain legal research, citing primary sources of law together with secondary sources of law where appropriate. Since a cogent discussion of legal issues entails legal research, this does not mean summarizing magazine articles and internet postings discussing legal subjects or developments. Students may select topics ranging from a single case study to a
treatment of one specific area of the law as it applies to a sport, level of play, or an organization. Opinions as the desirable legal reform must demonstrate the student’s knowledge of the current state of the law. Proposals should be tailored to a realistic focus to enable to student to cover the topic identified. Too broad a topic would be difficult to distill into term paper length, e.g.,“Concussion in Sport” versus “The Impact of New Jersey Sports Concussion Legislation on Youth Sports.” Finally, remember that the “best and the brightest” in legal research includes “the latest” in this rapidly evolving state of “the law.”
Papers should be 10 pages in length (typewritten and double-spaced). APA style should be used. This style sets a 1” margin on all sides. Pages should be left justified. Times New Roman with Font Side 12
should be used (Does not count the title page).
Term Papers late without good cause will be reduced one letter grade for each day late.
Presentation
A presentation may be expected for each term paper. This can be either an Executive Summary of your paper or a PowerPoint presentation. This is not a cut and paste of your entire paper, but rather a summation of key points and findings of your term paper. It should not exceed 15 slides. Your presentation should be saved as a Power Point PPtX version.
