Reference Table 2-1 and Table 2-2 on Pages 44 and 45 of the Palmatier text for an example of a Service Output Segmentation Table.
Create a Service Output Segmentation Table:
In the first column - Name/Describe the Segment
In the remaining columns, not all of which will apply to each segment, specifically describe the service output. (For example, if you are a grocery store, like Whole Foods, one segment might be high income, condo dwellers in the city, a possible service output might be grocery delivery). In the box with the description, put a H, M, or L (high, medium, low) to indicate the importance of the service output for that segment (column). If you try to force an answer for a column that does not apply, it will show me that you do not understand the concept and points will be deducted.
