Purpose of Studies for Royal Roads University

1. What influenced your decision to apply to the Masters of Global Management Program at Royal Roads University ?

The Program which i am applying to Masters of Global Management which explains the globalisation of trading and financial activities .The Global Management is an increasingly valuable asset in development of career in large or small firms or in business organizations . This subject teaches me how demand skilled individuals with all qualifications in finance , banking, management to keep pace with competition and to tackle the economic crisis. The study of Global business environment, International Marketing , E business , International Entrepreneurship, Global policy and strategy , Global leadership and Human Resource Management areas will prepare for me for the world and operating in Global Markets. I was searching for masters in international business program in Canada and get to know that Royal Roads University in Victoria ,British Columbia is offering a Global Management Program with excellent curriculum , finest of the faculty and resources and encourages innovative thinking abilities ,which is exactly related to my need and also RRU provides an Internship project which influenced me to apply for the program .

2. How have you gained the research , writing , critical thinking and numeracy/accounting skills necessary for success in this program ?

After the completion of my undergraduate degree ( Bachelor’s) I joined as Business Development Manager in TransAegis Systems Pvt Ltd and have been working for a period of 2 years . This was an opportunity to prove my skills set which allows a great pathway to my Business field . I was a part of identifying , qualifying and securing business opportunities to the clients . The company provided the flexibility to work as Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure , retain and growth accounts and developing customized targeted sales strategies . This influenced me to have an experience in practical business world . My company helps to build relationships with current and potential clients .Creating informative presentations and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings , Industry exhibits , Trade shows and conferences .In my job i respond to Client requests for proposals ( RPFs). My company gave freedom to coordinate Business generation activities . My work will be as answering to potential client questions and follow up questions creating and maintaining database of Prospect Clients. I will be maintaining short and long Base term business development plans which enables a database ( CRM, Excel , etc ) of prospective client information cold calling and making multiple outbound calls to potential clients . I will understand the client needs and offering solutions which support researching potential leads from business directories , web searches or digital resources , conferences , references , tradeshows etc . My work is to collaborate with management on sale goals , planning and forecasting .

3. Students at the master’s level learn from their instructors, from their readings, from their experiences inside and outside the classroom , and each other . What do you hope to contribute to the educational experience of your fellow students while you are in the program ?

My experiences at the masters level will be a great experience as I was already been working in the business field where I had learned great principles with each other .As my fellow students coming with a good background than me or similar with me in this program will compromise to be equal with everyone and this makes level of interaction with fellow students will gain a good knowledge and will experience the great time equally in masters program with great global and cultural abilities from fellow students from different parts of the world .I believe i can achieve some thing with a team work to help each other . This principle helps in my graduation as well as job staying the same with colleagues with the good interaction will have a great environment around me and will maintain the same with all instructors . I will experience the knowledge from everyone which is very important to gain from inside or outside .

I can contribute my experience with all the fellow students in class . This program teaches a travel of journey will various people and cultures and the information explained with oriented research helps to stay positive in all aspects other than the respective program.

4. In 5-10 years , how do you anticipate this program will add value to your career ?

My job designation in business development field will gain professional skills including analytical and problem solving business related skills with very challenging issues . In future my career in Business program develops other important skills which will enhance my value to employers where presentation, IT skills , team work and leader ship , skills in research design and analysis. I wish to develop my managerial skills and study about fundamentals of global business diverse set of topics including Marketing, Project Management, Human Resource management, IT management , Innovation management . I want to initiate my career in Global management at your university which inspires me about the faculty and facilities . I have got this university with my well requirements and subject profile .As i am working as a business development manager for 2 years experiences the global expose in professional development . The course helps me in understanding the particular challenges faced in developing corporate strategy , attracting foreign direct investment and working in countries with different cultures , institutions , laws and business practices . As I wanted to become a Management analyst this job will apt for my career in future years . The course which I take in this master program will help in global business and are prepared to understand the complex interrelation between relevant business topics and are able to contribute relevant discussions. This program acts as a part of my successful carrier . I will help organisations to solve any type of issues and provide advice on growing revenues and improving the business performance . My goal is set up a higher path in business management that operates socio-economic environment and will be able to manage and handle the challenges of global affairs .
