The literature associated with any CBT oriented treatment

Instructions:

This assignment asks you to review the literature associated with any CBT oriented treatment of a particular psychological disorder. You are to pick a disorder from the DSM-5 that you are interested in learning more about; it should be a disorder that can be ethically treated using CBT. Next, review and write about the efficacy of CBT treatment in reference to the disorder you picked. You may not use the same disorder you covered in the audio/visual presentation.

 Submit a formal literature review.

APA style

It should be between 2000 and 3000 words.

Review a minimum of 12 articles from peer-reviewed journals.

These articles must be recent – no older than 2011. CBT is one of the most published professional journal topics so this limitation will not be a hardship.

There should be a cohesive theme connecting your selection of papers, illustrating points you wish to make about CBT as a treatment method. In other words, based on the chosen theme of your literature review, evaluate the effectiveness of CBT as a treatment method.
