Time Mapper Final Paper 4-5 pages

For the final paper, we will be exploring, interpreting, and engaging with the TimeMapper digital history project we have been creating in order to uncover global connections throughout this time period.

Instructions: 

• First, the paper must focus on geographical area(s) outside of your TimeMapper group, (DONT USE ANY POINTS FROM THE USA OR CANADA!)


• You have two options (Choose One) 
  
  
  
  • Focus on ONE area outside of your group for an extended time period (i.e. 1500-Present, or 1500 to 1750, etc)
  
  
  • Focus on MULTIPLE areas outside of your group for a limited time period (i.e. the late 16th century or Early Twentieth Century or any other way you wish to define this)
  
  
  
  


• You will use (and ONLY use) our TimeMapper entries as your research and evidence for this paper.  Use at least six entries (more if you like). 


• Once you have decided on your focus, write a 3-4 page paper that addresses the following prompt:
  
  
  
  • What does your research (your chosen entries from the TimeMapper project) tell you about the increasing interconnectedness and globalization of the world over time or during a specific time period (depending on which option you choose above)?  How were the events/people/movements in the entries you examined influenced by outside forces?  Likewise, how did they influence events/people/movements outside of their geographical region?
  
  
  
  

Parameters:

• 3-4 pages, double-spaced, 12pt font


• Have an Intro (with a clear thesis), Body, and Conclusion.  


• Use only the TimeMapper entries as evidence. 


• At least 6 entries must be used.  Use more if you like. 


• Since we are all using the TimeMapper project, just cite the entry parenthetically in the sentence.  For example: (Timemapper, Nelson Mandela). 


• There is no need for a Works Cited or Bibliography.
