Research Paper For "Human Factors In Aviation Safety" Class

Please review the instructions in the instructions document

Tha research paper is required for a " Human Factors in Aviation Safety" Class.

This time I only need the first step of the instructions.

I have attached the 2 textbooks required for the class. Take a look at them along with the course description and goals and use that to pick an appropriate topic for the paper.

I prefer using reputable online sources along with the 2 provided books.

I will be posting different posts for the different steps, but it just makes sense that whoever is going to start out by doing the first step will be completing the other steps till the end/completed paper.

You will see that I also attached template so you know how the final product should look like.

Research Paper

Requirements: Employ a preponderance of the information to be covered in this course (as appropriate) to analyze, evaluate, and create a solution(s) to an existing aviation human factors and aviation safety issue.

Criteria

Must meet the following:

· Be 8 to 10 pages in length, double-spaced (body only, not including other pages)

· Written in the current APA style format.

Steps

Step 1:

You are required to submit to your instructor for approval, the topic of your Course Research Paper.

For the Course Research Paper that submission must include:

· The human factors in aviation safety topic and a draft title.

· A one-paragraph outline explaining how the paper is relevant to this course.

Step2:

You are required to submit a one-page outline of your Course Research Paper or your Course Case Study to your instructor for approval. That outline should include:

Course Research Paper:

· The human factors in aviation safety topic and a draft title

· A one-paragraph introduction explaining the fundamental concept behind the paper.

· An outline of the major sub-topics to be covered (i.e. section headings)

Step 3:

You are required to submit to your instructor a one-paragraph update on your progress in researching and writing your Course Research Paper or Course Case Study:

For both the Course Research Paper and the Course Case Study:

· Define what progress you have made, what you have remaining to do, and what your plan is for doing it.

· Explain to your instructor any issues you are having and/or ask any questions you have.

Course description and goals

Course Description: This course focuses on the major causative agent in aircraft accidents: the human being. Emphasis is placed on psychological and physiological factors that enhance the accident probability. Includedis a detailed analysis of ergonomics (human engineering) and its influence in aviation design.

Course Goals: This course is designed to provide the student with a detailed understanding of the influences of human factors in error causation and accident prevention and control. The student will understand the specific human factor areas of error, physiology, and psychology and enable him/her to analyze and provide corrective/preventative inputs to organizational and operational environments in aviation.
