1. Login to vdi.umuc.edu
2. Open the Cyber Programs Desktop by going to Desktops at the top
3. Select Cyber Programs Desktop
4. Select Open
5. Switch back to the “UMUC Lab” tab at the top your screen. Go to “Home” and select Windows Explorer.
6. Select Open
7. This opens up the Windows Explorer tab with Lab Broker displayed and the Windows Explorer window open – it is displaying the files on the desktop of the Citrix VDI.
Note: If Lab Broker does not automatically populate in the Windows Explorer tab, switch to the “UMUC Lab” tab at the top of your screen and launch Lab Broker from that location. Then return to the Windows Explorer window.
8. Launch Lab Broker (Start then Connect, check for powershell, enter credentials)
9. Once the Lab Broker VM populates, minimize the screen to view both the Windows Explorer Screen and Citrix VDI desktop.
Note: The VM is on the left and the Windows Explorer displaying the Citrix VDI desktop is on the right. Copy the Lab4_USB1.E01 file from Windows Explorer and paste to the Lab VM.
10. Refresh the desktop if you don’t see it (you may have to do it more than once).
