Custodial OperationsQueensland Corrective ServicesQueensland Corrective ServicesCustodial Operations is responsible for managing the State’s 11 publicly-run and two private correctional centres, which incorporate a variety of high and low security facilities.Prisoners in Queensland’s correctional system undergo constant safety and risk evaluation, and are given a high or low security classification.This classification determines if the prisoner will serve time in a high or low security centre.
