Mrs. Bassett was born March 2, 1918, in Genoa, Arkansas. She was a loving wife and mother,a homemaker, a nurse, a cattle rancher, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Bassett and a son Don Bassett. She is survived by a daughter Elsie Palmore; three sons; Jerry Bassett, Bill Bassett, and Kevin Bassett all of Genoa, Arkansas; a sister Blanche Bagley of Oakley, California; and a number of grandchildren; great grand children, and great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 4 P.M. Monday at Rock Springs Cemetery with Rev. Doug Frostofficiating.
