To conclude, the
analysis of Seven Leadership Mindsets Theory has
indicated that OETC follows a sociocentric, tribalistic, and an integrative
approach aimed
at the promotion and well-being of the larger society as a whole. The
company has strictly adhered to the principles of social growth and development
through the provision of vigorous training to improve the knowledge, skillset,
and expertise of employees. Also, the company had promoted Omanisation to offer
equal job opportunities to the young local nationals of Oman while promoting
economic growth. In comparison to the top competitor KAHRAMAA, OETC has a
participative leadership style where decision-making power is offered to all
the employees at all levels that facilitates in the promotion of motivation,
empowerment, and encouragement. Participative leadership style of OETC through
the adoption of a horizontal organisational structure has enabled the company
to sustain its competitive advantage through rigorous mentoring, coaching, and
training sessions.
