Introduction of the Business
Leader
Business
leadership is not a job title for a corner office, in fact, it relates to the
management, supervision, and administration of the whole business. Business
leaders develop plans through utilizing their leadership skills with the aim to
promote business operations and ensure success (Amanchukwu, et al., 2015). In this assignment,
the main focus is on business leadership of Amin H. Nasser CEO of the Saudi
Aramco company). Somehow, assignment also covers information about components
of leadership, transformational leadership, and my qualities for leadership.
Amin H my favorite Business Leader
My favorite
business leader is Amin H. Nasser. Since 2015, he has been working as a chief
executive officer (CEO) of the Saudi Aramco company. Other than this, he had
worked at the Board of Directors and executive officer of different companies
in the Saudi Arabian Companies. In 2000, he worked as manager of Aramco Global
Business Program. While in 2002 he was appointed as Senior Executive officer in
Columbia University.

Key
Leadership Qualities
There are
some key leadership qualities that make a leader effective leader in a
realistic manner. For instance communication quality, management quality,
conflict handling senses, useful network, accountability, creativity,
innovation, inspiration power, and passion. Somehow, leaders should have
passion, and commitment (Amanchukwu, et al., 2015). Leaders should also
have a wider vision, deep knowledge, interest, and capabilities to lead the
whole organization.
In
determining the key leadership qualities of my favorite leader in the light of
these key leadership qualities. According to analysis, Amin H. Nasser (CEO of
Saudi Aramco Company) has key qualities of passion, accountability, interest in
business operations, and strong communication skills. I like Amin H. Nasser
because of his strong communication skills. He communicates in a very concise
but comprehensive way that conveys the actual meaning to the listeners. In my
views, an effective business leader must have strong communication skills. Only
then he/she can efficiently lead his/her subordinates.

Impact
of Leader on his Organization
According to
the research, Amin H. Nasser is the most influential and inspiring leader in
the history of the Saudi Aramco Company. During his time the company progressed
many times more than the past years. He introduced innovations in business
operations to enhance sustainability in the competitive market (Waldman, et
al., 2006).
He took the decision regarding business process and expansion that benefited
the company in the long run. For instance, to support growing procurement needs
he introduced and supported the idea of a world-class supply chain ecosystem
that also covers SMEs in Saudi Arabia.
He has
been many awards considering his efforts done for the success of Saudi Aramco
Company. For instance, in 2017, he earned a Lifetime achievement award by
Society Petroleum Engineers. Furthermore, he also received a Charles F. Rand
Memorial Gold Medal for supporting innovative operations in the Saudi Aramco
company as a result of which company’s performance and profitability was enhanced.

Components
of Business Leader
Components
of business leader are the vision, team builder, honesty, courage,
self-awareness, and communication skills. Actually, these are the basic components
that make a leader successful leader and without these components, a person
cannot lead his subordinates in a successful way. According to my views, I have
the potential to become an effective and successful leader as I have many
components from these. For instance, I am an honest and hardworking person.
While my conflict management and communication skills are also good that gives
me the confidence to claim that I can become a business leader.
4. Transnational Business Leader
Transformation
business leadership style represents the potential of a leader to inspire,
motivate and encourage workers to work for innovation with the purpose to
ensure future success. According to my views, I have the potential of
inspiration and motivation (Waldman, et al., 2006). I can encourage
employees to bring creativity in their work. Anyhow, still there are some
qualities of a transformational business leader that I have to develop. I can
develop leadership skills by paying attention to these qualities and skills (Amanchukwu,
et al., 2015).
Practicing negotiation skills can also help out me in making myself more
inspirational and motivational for the subordinates at the workplace.
Conclusion on Business
Leader
The whole
discussion concludes that business leadership is not a quite easy job as it
requires skills, qualification, and practice. Chief Executive Officer of the
Saudi Aramco company earned the reputation of the most influential and
inspirational leader because of his skills and qualities of an effective and
successful leader. Furthermore, the key components of leadership include communication
and conflict management skills.
