Analyze
strategies and framework used by leaders to initiate change in the organization
In the several
organizations the leaders are taking various initiative steps for the change
management of the organization. The change management is most essential and
important point for an organization (Bryce, 2006). There are various frameworks
and model that are used by the leaders for initiate change in the organization.
These models are; ADAR, Lewis, McKinney 7-S, The Babbler-Ross Model,
Stair Change Management Model and William Bridges’ Transition Model.
ADAR / framework used by leaders to
initiate change in the organization
ADAR is considered as the on the most
important and well known frameworks for the change in organization and this
framework has been created by the founder of the Pro-sci who
was Jeff Hiatus. The acronyms of this models are referral as;
A: Awareness for required change
D: Desire for supporting the change
K: Knowledge related to the process of change
A: Ability to evaluate the behavior and skills
R: Reinforcement for making
change stick
This is one of the oldest frame works of the
change in the organization and it was developed in the model of the recent
century. Kurt Lewis was founder of this model who was social scientist and
physicist. This model is continued by following the process of 3 steps.
Unfreeze:
It includes the existing processes and perceptions
Change: It includes the process of perceptions along with new
processes, training and education.
Refreeze:
It is referred as the new way of doing
things in the organization. This frame work is considered as the simpler model
as compare to several others frame works that’s commonly using in the
organization. But this is the one of the most authentic models because there
are several organizations that are using this model for change in the
origination. I will implement this frame work being leader in my organization
because it is most simplest and authentic frameworks (Bryce, 2006).
