I would like to discuss the project which involves promoting sales of a company in the food industry that was greatly affected by the public health crisis.
Describe the overall project goals and your role in the project.
The overall project was aimed at ensuring that customer services was improved and the sales of a company were increased. The target was to ensure that the company reaches its customer even when the government recommended that individuals should remain at home as a measure of controlling the deadly virus which was spreading very fast. The identified goals in the project of coffee delivery project was to ensure that the firm remains as the main supplier of coffee during the public health crisis, make sure that the desires of the clients are fulfilled even though they are required to remain at home and ensure that the financial situation of the firm is improved during the economic downturn.
Explain how the project scope was clearly defined at the beginning of the project or how it was not clearly defined.
The scope of the project was well defined since the company majorly deals with coffee and all the project expectations were laid out properly. The project deliverables were set as delivery of coffee products, selling hot coffee as well as cold coffee (Rianty et al., 2018). The project management understood that this project was to run as long as the pandemic lasts and would be completed once the health sector established a medication and the people understood better measures of dealing with the pandemic. This project was mostly designed to be carried out in all states of United States where the company had set up its stores.
Prepare and share with us a listing of deliverables from your project. Offer at least 4 deliverables and two work packages per deliverable. Identify the WBS code accordingly.
As a project team member, my main contribution was in the delivery of the coffee products to the clients who made orders as well as offer feedback regarding the suitability of the activities within the project in realizing the set goals of the firm. It was a major role, taking into consideration that the firm had not tried out this kind of a project before. Understanding the capability of such a project would be important in allowing the firm to improve its services during the hard times of the economy (Burghate, 2018). In addition, one would ensure that all the other reports given by the team members were filled properly and delivered to the respective project manager.
The work breakdown structure of the project is

Finally, complete a quick google search, and locate a website (that appears credible) that presents an example WBS. Share the link with your peers along with a sentence or two related to how their WBS aligns to the typical structure of a WBS as presented in the week introduction
The work breakdown structure is crucial in outlining the project activities as well as helping the project team member to determine the exact actions they should take to show their engagement in the project. It allows the project managers to track down the project happenings as well as to be able to give guidelines to the project team members who look up to them for guidance. An example of the work breakdown structure is shown in this link https://www.workamajig.com/blog/guide-to-work-breakdown-structures-wbs. The work breakdown structure is used in outlining the plan of the project and ensuring that the project happenings can be streamlined to align with the project expectations.
