Response these answer for only 5 sentences "The movie “Better Luck Tomorrow,” talks about the bad things that four Asian American students did, and it made me agree that Justin Lin successfully subverts dualistic stereotypes of Asian American from this movie. In this movie, Justin made four Asian American teens as a group of students who were cheating in the school for exam and something else. Moreover, these students started to do the small things from the high school like cheating in the exam, and then stole the machine from the labs. Then, they started to use heroin and they became murders at the end of the movie because of killing Steve. Therefore, through the movie “Better Luck Tomorrow,” we can see that Justin Lin successfully in making the portrayals of Asian American teens as gangstas or yellow peril.
