Review the assigned readings and videos. Select ONE of the diseases from the CDC Neglected Tropical Diseases (CDC, 2018) webpage. In paragraph form, briefly describe the disease, its agent, vector, and symptoms. Summarize the available disease burden data and identify the potential treatment or cure.Include one additional in-text citation from the textbook or other assigned reading that references this issue as well. Responses should be approximately 100-200 words. Include at least different two in-text reference citations. In-text reference citations e.g., (Author, Date) should be used for attribution when summarizing content (see the guidance provided in the Additional Resources folder on the course home page). A full reference citation is not required for this assignment.

1) Consider the purpose of epidemiology, the epidemiological methods you have learned so far, and the role those methods play in public health practice. Consider specific public health programs or interventions and the way epidemiology guides their development and implementation.
2) Using the “This is Public Health” sticker you obtained, take of picture of yourself (or a friend or family member) with the sticker in a way that depicts a public health program or intervention that is supported by the practice of epidemiology. Be creative and feel free to discuss ideas with your classmates.
3) Post your picture to the Module 7 Class Activity discussion board and include a caption that: a) briefly describes the public health program or intervention you depicted and b) uses an epidemiologic measure to highlight the importance of the program or intervention. You must provide at least one Class Activity discussion post by Thursday at 11:59PM ET
