The promotional elements that will be used to market the Smart TV apps will include the following: 1) advertising. Using a news release, television spots, and magazine ads featuring the new features of Smart TV; 2) Digital marketing. Using the social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter will allow the product to be introduced to a wider market, and the ability to click on the ad to check out the new features will enable a more interactive approach to marketing. It also allows excited consumers the opportunity to share the Facebook page of the product, reaching more viewers. YouTube ads promoting the product will also reach a large audience; 3) Sales promotions. In store promotions featuring the product and the new app will attract new consumers to the product. Stores that should promote the product should be Best Buy, Sears, and other major department or electronic stores (Kerin, 2015).
