This is a description for how to find articles on Ebsco from scholars who have completed Research on a specific disorder.
1. Log on to myhudson.hccc.edu 2. Once in the portal, hover your mouse over Campus Life 3. Then, scroll down to where you see Library 4. Click on Library 5. In Library, click on Research 6. Scroll down to where you see Psychology 7. Click on Psychology 8. Then click on PsyARTICLES under EBSCO database 9. Once on the PsyARTICLES page type in your specific DSM-V disorder. For
the purpose of this example let’s say you were to type in Autism 10. Then click Search 11. On the results page you want to make sure you select Peer-Reviewed
Journals as your source type which is located on the left column. Peer- Reviewed Journals is Research that has been completed by multiple scholars which contribute to the studies validity
12. Once you click on Peer-Reviewed Journals, the search will refresh 13. When you come across a journal that seems interesting from the title, click
on it 14. Once you click on an article, you want to make sure there is an option to
view “PDF Full Text” on the left side of the screen. This will display the article in its entirety. If you don’t see this option, it could mean that the article is not viewable
15. On the right side of the screen you will also see a tab which says CITE. When you click on CITE, it will automatically give the reference in APA format. This could be used for your reference page at the end of the Research Paper
